Approximately 65 km from Baku. We are heading towards Gobustan, located in the southwest of Azerbaijan, which is the richest region in terms of archaeological artifacts and is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Gobustan, located on the old Shirvan road, near the Caspian Sea; It is also called an open air museum. This place, with its carved rocks and illustrated stones, provides important information about social life, hunting, animals and vegetation in the prehistoric Middle Ages. Then, we continue on our way to visit the Mud Volcanoes region, close to Gobustan. This region is one of the most interesting places in Azerbaijan, famous for its natural resources, as it has half of the more than 700 Mud Volcanoes in the world, especially the largest ones, and you will feel like you are among the "Moon craters" when you arrive there. Following the guide's explanations in the region, we observe live volcano movements. Then we return to Baku to visit the Haydar Aliyev Cultural Center. The concept design building by famous architect Zaha Hadid, reflecting the rise of the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijani mythology, was built in 3.5 years. Haydar Aliyev Cultural Center, which is considered one of the most important structures of Azerbaijan, is seen as a symbol of the future-oriented approach of the Azeri society with its modern, extraordinary and futuristic architecture. The center includes fixed and temporary exhibitions, archaeological findings, ethnography section, classical vehicles, personal belongings of Haydar Aliyev and official vehicles. During this visit, you will gain information on a wide spectrum of Azerbaijan from past to present. After our tour, we return to our hotel.
